HELENA, Mont. – ICYMI: Yesterday on the Senate floor, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer called Montana’s commonsense election security laws and the overwhelming majority of Montanans that elected our leaders DESPICABLE.
Now, Schumer is sending lawyers to swarm Montana courtrooms and overturn the will of Montana’s electorate.
But despite Schumer’s disinformation campaign against commonsense efforts to ensure integrity and transparency in our elections, 77% of Americans support Voter ID requirements, according to Honest Elections Project.
In response, Senator Daines made clear that he will always stand up to Chuck Schumer’s partisan attacks on Montana voters and sent a clear message to the Democrats – get your facts straight.
On November 3rd, Montana voters spoke loud and clear that securing our elections was critically important when they elected Republicans into every statewide office. Yet, Montana’s senior Senator is once again backing down to party boss Chuck Schumer and refusing to call out his lies or stand up for the Montanans he is supposed to represent.
Which begs the question: Does Jon Tester think we’re despicable?
His silence speaks volumes…
