CFAP will use funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which I voted for, to provide direct support for producers whose supply chains have been impacted. The program also will help if you’ve faced price declines and additional marketing costs.
Applications for CFAP open Tuesday, May 26, 2020
The USDA will begin taking applications on May 26 through the county Farm Service Agency (FSA) offices, but you can start preparing now.
What you’ll need to apply
- Personal information, including your Tax Identification Number
- Farm operating structure
- Adjusted Gross Income compliance certification to ensure eligibility
- Direct deposit to enable payment processing
How to apply
On Tuesday, May 26, please call your local FSA office to schedule an appointment. To find your local FSA Office, click HERE.
