For eligible veterans and/or students who use the GI Bill, the IRS recently announced the deadline to claim their dependents and submit their Non-Filer form for their emergency relief check.
The deadline is Tuesday, May 5.
If you’re an eligible veteran with dependents or a student veteran who uses the GI Bill, and if you don’t file annual tax returns, take action to make sure you receive your full rebate check. You must fill out the Non-Filer form to receive the additional $500 per dependent.
