During the 16th Century, the first slaves in North America arrived. They were white, “indentured servants”. They were forced to work so hard and were treated so brutally that few lived to see fruition of their American Dream. A century later, white and black women were exported into America from Britain, France and Africa, to serve as wives for strangers. Still later, as farms grew into plantations, the infamous “black slave trade” began.
After the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln freed both white and black slaves. Most black plantation slaves received “40 acres and a mule” as reparations. White slaves and other black slaves received nothing of material value. In 1865, the 13th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America was ratified. Section 1 of it is specific to “slavery” and “involuntary servitude.”
Today, the worst, cruelest form of slavery exists in America. Hundreds of thousands of women and children are being sex-trafficked into the United States monthly by brutal, Mexican cartels through the Democrats’ open US/MX border. Some of these poor souls are also used as drug mules. Body parts of children and some women are being sold as well. So, when Al Sharpton, the Squad and other unfeeling, self-aggrandizing loud-mouths are contemplating “reparations”, elected “representatives” need to grow a spine and “just say ‘no!’.
