4/1/2021 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said relations have “hit bottom” with the United States and its allies. No date is set for sending back its Ambassador to DC. Russia recalled Ambassador Antonov after Biden referred to Putin as a “killer” in a recent televised interview. Lavrov called Biden’s remarks “appalling”. Putin mocked Biden, laughingly, as he challenged Biden to a debate and, sarcastically, wished Biden “good health”. Obviously Putin considers Biden weak both mentally and physically.
In the same interview with George Stefanopolis, Biden also warned Russia that it would soon face sanctions over the SolarWinds hacking attempts to influence last year’s U.S. Presidential Election. Biden said “the days of the U.S. rolling over to Putin are done”. Let’s hope he is not ‘all talk and no action’ like his Democratic predecessor Obama.
