You know, Bernie Sanders seems to have two standards: one for him and his elite friends, and one for everyone else.
He shamelessly condemns wealth and success, while amassing wealth and three houses!
Still, the issue isn’t necessarily his three houses, but rather his two standards!
I now see that AOC has followed his lead!
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D–N.Y.) knows firsthand the limitations that come with the public-school system. In a recently unearthed Facebook Live video from 2017, the self-described democratic socialist said she worked to secure a spot for her goddaughter in a Bronx charter school.
“This area’s like a lot of where my family is from,” noted Ocasio-Cortez as she walked through the Bronx. “My goddaughter, I got her into a charter school like maybe a block or two down.”
This isn’t the first time that AOC has inadvertently made the case for school choice. At an October rally for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (I–Vt.), she shared that her family left the Bronx for a house in Westchester county, so that she could attend a higher-quality school. “My family made a really hard decision,” said Ocasio-Cortez. “That’s when I got my first taste of a country who allows their kids’ destiny to be determined by the zip code they are born in.”
At the same time that she votes to kill school choice and keep poor kids from going to good schools… She pulled strings to get a family member into a good charter school. Just like her parents did for her.
One of the worst aspects of the Soviet Union was how the privileged elite carried on with a life of comfort, while preaching that the larger share of the people had to sacrifice “for the good of the proletariat”. They were unethical hypocrites, and that was a huge part of the reason the Soviet Union fell.
AOC has no idea how much her wacky policies hurt real people. She was shielded from them, she protected her own family from them, but she forced them down everyone else’s throat.
She will destroy the city with her inane policies – but she and her cronies will be insulated from the effects.
AOC is a class A hypocrite. As long as I have the money to tell this story to the hard working people of the Bronx and Queens, do you see them re-electing her?
I sure don’t!
She is an embarrassment, and she is VERY vulnerable. Let’s replace her!
Let’s replace this fraud with an honest, hardworking former cop – one that doesn’t try to take from the poor to benefit her own circle.
It’s time to stop hating America, our people, our industry, our successes, our freedoms! It’s time to defeat AOC and leave the bad ideas in the history books!
