3 AM runs into 4 where the moon has shrunk some more (now, maybe, 1/3) but still casts a radiant glow as it is dispersed among the wispy clouds. By 5:30, I have moved the furniture by the bed so I can access the floor, toweling and mopping where Deb stood next to the bed and peed around 3 (which woke me), cause she could not find the bathroom. My guess is that she was trying to tell me she needed to go. I took her to the toilet, and she finished her business so I could put her back to bed, to allow me to finish clean-up and start a load of laundry. Of course, the dogs assumed I was up to feed them, so I was obligated. I put 3 chicken breasts in the smoker to feed Deb and me for a couple of days and watched the caregiver video I missed yesterday. Removed and cut up chicken (again, dogs assumed it was for them and received a few bites to confirm it) and posted this. Now, Scout and I have to get back in bed with Deb so she doesn’t wake alone, here in a few minutes, as we need to get her up, washed and dressed to be ready to meet friends that are bringing their children to see horses. We are going to the O K Corral, where the O’Keefe side of our family has volunteered to handle the horses. PS – the O’Keefes own the O K Corral on Kimbell Rd, where they offer all kinds of horse services.
