HELENA – Governor Greg Gianforte’s leadership this week repeatedly delivered results to improve the lives of Montanans. From aggressively combatting Covid-19, leading the Montana Comeback Plan, making fishing free on Mother’s Day weekend, to meeting with county leaders to move Montana forward, Governor Greg Gianforte had a busy week as Montana’s chief executive.

Free Mother’s Day Weekend Fishing!
On Tuesday, Governor Gianforte displayed bipartisan leadership at its finest by signing Senate Bill 61, making fishing free on Mother’s Day weekend.
Montana Comeback Plan Becoming a Reality
This week, two signature Montana Comeback bills – the Montana Entrepreneur Magnet Act and the COMPETES Act – moved one step closer to becoming law, which will make Montana more competitive and create more good-paying jobs right here in Montana.
