HELENA – Governor Greg Gianforte’s leadership this week repeatedly delivered results to improve the lives of Montanans. From aggressively combatting Covid-19, leading the Montana Comeback Plan, making fishing free on Mother’s Day weekend, to meeting with county leaders to move Montana forward, Governor Greg Gianforte had a busy week as Montana’s chief executive.

MTGOP Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt released the following statement in response:
“After 16 years of ineffective bureaucrats running our state government, Governor Greg Gianforte is already changing the way Helena does business by delivering swift results that will concretely improve the lives of all Montanans,” said Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt. “I’m grateful for the governor’s extraordinary leadership in getting shots in arms and continuing to lead the Montana Comeback Plan by moving critical tax reform through the legislature. But most importantly, I want to thank Montana’s health care heroes and public health officials for their lifesaving efforts that made Montana number one in vaccine administration.”

As our incredible health care heroes and unified Republican legislature bring us closer to getting the economy going again, reopening Montana for business, and successfully implementing the Montana Comeback Plan, there is no doubt that Montana’s best days lie ahead.
