As a former NYPD cop, I am stunned and angered by the callousness that effete liberals like AOC have against police.
Recently, New York’s Public Health official (a DeBlasio appointee) made an inflammatory statement about cops…. Almost wishing for their death from COVID:
New York City’s health commissioner blew off an urgent NYPD request for 500,000 surgical masks as the coronavirus crisis mounted – telling a high-ranking police official that “I don’t give two rats’ asses about your cops,” The Post has learned.
Dr. Oxiris Barbot made the heartless remark during a brief phone conversation in late March with NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan, sources familiar with the matter said Wednesday.
Monahan asked Barbot for 500,000 masks but she said she could only provide 50,000, the sources said.
“I don’t give two rats’ asses about your cops,” Barbot said, according to sources. “I need them for others.”
The conversation took place as increasing numbers of cops were calling out sick with symptoms of COVID-19 but before the department suffered its first casualties from the deadly respiratory disease, sources said.
This evil person spit in the eye of the 5,500 cops who came down with COVID, and 41 deaths from the disease. Those were brave men and women with families, and Mayor DeBlasio does not care one bit about them!
He hasn’t even fired the slimeball official who said this ghoulish thing. AOC hasn’t condemned her comments NOR called for her to be fired, even as other NYC Congressional Dems have done so!
Don’t forget AOC’s historical dislike of police of any kind. AOC has tweeted support for protesters attacking NYPD cops. She wants cops to stop enforcing Subway laws. She blames cops for the consequences that befall violent lawbreakers.
I agree with my fellow NYPD cops.
“A so-called city leader, Dr. Barbot showed her true colors as a cop- hater,” said Detectives’ Endowment Association President Paul DiGiacomo.
“Five brave NYPD Detectives died as the DEA searched for protective equipment to purchase for our members while we waited for the city to distribute masks.”
Patrick Lynch, president of the Police Benevolent Association, called Barbot’s comments “despicable and unforgivable.”
I don’t want to hear about how the liberals want to keep people safe. They don’t care at all about keeping people safe. All they want is to use this crisis to reward their friends and punish the rest of us.
We need public officials, especially in Congress, who back the Blue. AOC and her extremist allies will never do so. But I’m a former NYPD cop – and I never forget!
The restraints she wants to place on our brave Border Patrol and ICE agents are insane. She thinks the illegal alien criminals are the heroes, and the LEOs are the criminals.
I say, those who risk their lives to keep us safe are the REAL heroes!
AOC has cost tens of thousands of my neighbors jobs by chasing away Amazon. She has been a shame upon New York. It’s time to end the AOC experiment, before she brings this to you, in your home!
It’s time to stop AOC from destroying America! She hates police, and will sadistically inflict all the pain she can if she thinks it will benefit her.
I will defeat AOC in November, and make sure that no one has to hear her Marxist tripe again.
