It’s not a pledge of allegiance to a democracy, it’s a Pledge of Allegiance to a REPUBLIC. A democracy is a government system used by hundreds of countries, most of which are third world. Words are powerful, even more so when combined with repetition and used on people who have not been educated to know the difference. Democrats are not ‘Democratic Representatives’; they are ‘Democrat Representatives’. It is not the “Democratic Party”; it’s the ‘Democrat Party’. When President Andrew Johnson decided to join the ‘Democrat Party’, he referred to it as such, not as the ‘Democratic Party’. That’s because Leftists had not yet begun their clever, repetitive indoctrination. Watch the bottom tv-scrolls on Fake News’ (including FOX) ads referring to the “2026 Democratic National Convention”. When the squiggly line under the words “Democrat Party” appears on Word, go to spell check. That adjective/noun combo no longer exists. Most people (especially Ivy League college grads) are so indoctrinated about the purposefully subtle change that they don’t notice the difference. The ploy worked. So now, when some purposefully devious or innocently uninformed person says, “Trump is destroying our democracy”, the intent of the subtle change implies that Democrats are the party of democracy and will save the world from another evil tyrant.
