Remember the Davos crowd (aka self-named “World’s Economic Forum” (WEF))? This group is comprised of a bunch of extremely wealthy people who, once a year, fly into Davos, Switzerland, to huff and puff about how wonderful they are. Each pompous member flies via private jet … no plane-carpooling. It’s part of the status symbol for their jet to be parked at the Davos Airport. Like John Kerry, whose wife is one of the wealthiest in the world, they spew nonsense about why it is so important and essential that they fly by private jet, but the rest of us peasants must live without fossil fuels. Their favorite “think-tank” discussions are mostly concerning environmental, climate change, and saving the planet sorts of issues.
According to its members, WEF is “an international, non-profit, lobbying group”, which was founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab for the purpose of engaging in political, business and, of course, environmental conversations. The platform consists of informed collaboration among all stakeholders, including the United Nations. WEF offers “advice to purpose-driven communities, which are seeking opportunities and challenges as the world faces another Great Reset”.
Schwab (a Marxist German) was pushed out in May 2025 due to alleged misconduct, primarily for allegations that he and his family have received inappropriate financial benefits from WEF. Rumor has it that Christine Lagarde may leave her position with the European Central Bank (ECB-Germany) early. Her contract calls for 2027 retirement. According to Klaus, for years, he has been grooming her to be his replacement. However, since Klaus’s sudden departure and the fact that she would have to leave ECB early, Christine is considering her options more carefully.
