The Trump Trade Winning Streak Continues!

It was an honor to be at the White House with Commissioner Joe Briggs of Cascade County, Great Falls Montana, for the historic U.S.-China trade signing ceremony. This agreement will bring billions of dollars for our ag industry which is a big deal for Montanans, including $40 billion in ag commodities.

Securing Senate Passage of the US-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement 

This trade deal is a big win for our farmers, ranchers, and small businesses across Montana and the country. This deal will help provide certainty for Montana ag and protects critical access to our two biggest trading partners. I’m thankful for President Trump’s leadership getting this done, and look forward to it being signed into law.

Historic Week for Montana Ag 

President Trump is on a winning streak and we need to step back and think of what’s happened in the last 100 days.

If you look at China, you look at Canada, Mexico and Japan. Over the course of 100 days, starting back in early October with the Japan deal, President Trump has signed deals with our four largest trading partners, and helped secure over $2 trillion in trade for our country.    

On Thursday before the Senate secured final passage of the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement, I was awarded the 2019 Wheat Advocate Award from Vince Mattson, President of the Montana Grain Gowers Association. I was honored to be recognized for being a strong advocate on behalf of Montana’s grain growers.

As your voice in Washington D.C. I will continue to fight to expand opportunities for our largest economic driver. It has been an honor to have been a strong ag-vocate on behalf of Montana producers! This week was a great start, and I look forward to continuing to grow on this progress in the months to come!
