Inhabitants of the fire-consumed parts of Maui are furious by what government, both federal and state, is not doing. For days following the fires, Biden claimed “no comment”. Fake News and Democrats ignored his obvious indifference. Later, the Bidens left their Delaware Beach vacation to visit Lahaina for a few hours. Biden promised a mere $700 to each household. Then, they flew to a huge fundraiser, given in the swank Lake Tahoe home of Tom Stryon, a billionaire Democrat donor; they stayed as his guests for another week of vacationing.
Unsurprisingly, Hawaii Gov. Josh Green blamed ‘climate change’ for the fires. Oddly, there were no warning signals and firemen were initially denied water for their hoses. Did that have anything to do with rising tensions over water rights owned by Maui Land Company? Oddly, people were directed into, instead of away from, the fires. Oddly, Hawaii’s top emergency management officials, including FEMA, were attending a DEI conference in Waikiki at the time of the fires. Oddly, only one house was left unscathed … a beautiful, historic home, which in 2021 received massive restoration, including solar panels, from state government grants.
Almost immediately following the fires, real estate developers made land-grab offers of quick cash to the desperate residents, who had lost everything. Was Maui Land Co among them? Something macabre is happening. How does it all connect? Who is investigating this appalling, tangled web?
