Holding the pen used to sign the Lands Package into law!
What’s New:
Recently, I joined President Trump at the White House for a bill signing ceremony of the historical bipartisan public lands package, a monumental win for all of Montana!
Why it Matters:
As an avid outdoorsman, I know the importance that public lands hold in Montana. The Lands package includes the permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) and the Yellowstone Gateway Protection Act, two bills that are critical to expanding outdoor recreation and conserving Montana’s special places. It also enacts long-awaited provisions that support sportsmen’s access, hunting and shooting, as well as bolstering wildlife conservation.
What’s Next:
I will be working closely with agencies to ensure that the lands package is properly implemented, so that Montanans and all Americans can continue to enjoy public lands for generations to come.
