Congratulations to the good people of Argentina for dumping the Peronistas, who bankrupted the country and threw the nation into poverty … though Hollywood did romanticize their use. Newly elected (10/26/2025) Javier Milei, who recently visited with Pres. Trump in the Oval, won by a large margin.
Milei will likely refinance the country’s debt at lower interest rates, reduce taxes and dollarize Argentina’s economy. Loser, socialist Juan Grabois, said that he “lost because the campaign chief of La Libertad Avanza is named Pres. Donald Trump.”
United States Treasury Secretary, Scott Bissett’s strategy of supporting Milei’s reforms paid off. Bissett slammed Elizabeth Warren as an “American Peronist”. He said that “while she remains mostly focused on singing ‘Don’t Cry For Me Massachusetts’ and voting against paying government workers, she also found a way to threaten large banks.” Bissett continued, “She’s an American Peronist. The only thing she enjoys more than wasting taxpayers’ money is wasting our nation’s time.”
