AMAC magazine’s June 2021 issue contains an enlightening interview with Rep. Victoria Spartz, titled Living the American Dream. She grew-up in USSR-controlled Ukraine and says, “Life under a socialist system is not fun. There’s propaganda and suppression of rights. People could not go to church or openly pray. Baptism was done in secret. Anything said against the government meant jail time. Food and health care were limited. Lawlessness takes advantage of a broken government.”
After marrying, moving to America, and becoming a proud citizen, Victoria saw countless opportunities. After various achievements, including a master’s degree in accounting, she was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Rep. Spartz has seen firsthand the horrors of single-payer, socialized healthcare and wants to preserve choices with insurance, doctors, and medication. She recognizes education as a huge problem and wants to fight the propagandizing of students. She has been to the US/MX border and sees a “national crisis”. Open borders are controlled by criminals and terrorists. “So, we have a lot of work to do.”
The American Dream includes freedom, opportunity, and choices. It does not include government oppression, suppression, and socialization.
