2/21/2022, Sara Carter posted an interesting article on her website, titled “Brooklyn ‘Woo Gang’. Members Used 800 Stolen IDs to Receive $4 Million in Covid Relief Funds”. They did it by buying the info of their victims, such as driver’s license numbers, for $150 each.
Feds were able to arrest them by recovered messages of the suspects. “U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of NY, Breon Peace, said he will continue to track gang members attempting to rip-off the U.S. Government.” Actually, the “victim” is not “U.S. Government” … it is “We the People”!
“Unfortunately, government aid programs have long been a feeding frenzy for scam artists.” … “The scale and magnitude of the fraud in the unemployment program has reached staggering levels.”
