Why are Democrats, including leadership, not giving Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) more than a mild suggestion that she stay silent on her numerous anti-Semitic tweets?  She’s made it clear, both in the past and now, that she hates Jews.  When Rep. Stephen King,  a Republican, did it with regard to White Supremacy, he was immediately lambasted and stripped of his committees.  House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), has rebuked her several times for anti-Semitic comments, which she’s made both in the past and since joining Congress.  She and another freshman representative, Rashida Tlaib, strongly agree that “Israel has hypnotized the world; may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”   In another tweet, Omar suggested that McCarthy’s criticism stemmed from Jewish lobbying money.  McCarthy said “it’s dangerous for Democrat leadership to stay silent on this reckless language.”  Another representative said “she’s filled with anti-Semitic hatred.  What in the world has happened to the State of Minnesota?”
