Dec. 7 at 7 pm at Rosebud County (Forsyth, MT) library basement

Grass roots, town hall-styled meeting for freedom loving Americans interested in learning more about what We the People can do to fix it. Jeanne Spannagle, one of the organizers for the Dec. 7th assembly, explained that “Article V of the Constitution of the United States of America allows states to propose constitutional amendments via a convention, as opposed to being proposed and passed by Congress … the way the Constitution has typically been amended… “A convention of states is the only plan that can by-pass the swamp, re-establish the guiding principles of the founders and save the Republic.” … “This plan will restore the fundamental freedoms that secure our liberty, our future and secure the coming generations … our children.”

In the last legislative session, Montana fell two votes short of passing a resolution calling for a convention of states. The Convention of States in Montana is working within the legislature and is dedicated to getting the legislation passed in the next legislative session. Montana resolu-tions would call for three things: (1) Limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government; (2) Limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government; (3) Limit the terms of office for federal officials, bureaucrats and members of Congress.
