1 AM aligned the full moon with the tree-lined pond, Scout’s shrine, and the sidewalk running from the front porch. As though I needed to be reminded that Scout died in my arms 4 years and 10 months ago, almost to the moment. His spirit, his love, has helped me through some seemingly impossible situations involving heart, mind, body and soul. Girl Scout is awesome, and I love her to the moon and back, but Scout took the best of me with him and I will forever miss my self. What a beautiful night for reflecting on such a special bond. Love you Scout.
