Senator Daines had a very busy month introducing bills to protect Montana workers, businesses, and energy production.
Senator Daines introduced legislation to ban vaccine mandates for essential workers crossing the border. The “Continuing Safe Essential Travel Across our Border Act” would prohibit the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from requiring an essential critical infrastructure worker to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition to engage in essential travel from the U.S. into Mexico or Canada or into the U.S. from those countries. – Sen. DainesSenator Daines didn’t stop there. He also wrote a letter calling on the Biden administration to immediately reauthorize construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. Daines has been leading the fight in the U.S. Senate to support made in America energy, especially the Keystone XL pipeline. Senator Daines also continued to prove he is putting the people of Montana ahead of the interests of politicians and DC insiders by introducing a bipartisan bill to ban Members of Congress and their spouses from owning and trading individual stocks.
