Thomas Jefferson, a visionary, had many triumphs; but, his biggest was the Louisiana Purchase.  Do kids even study this in school these days?  While others scoffed and mocked him for even thinking of such a thing, he knew it was good for America’s future and for its national security.  Monroe and Livingston were the only ones who understood, agreeing that the purchase would prove to be invaluable.  They urged Jefferson to seal-the-deal quickly before the decision landed in the hands of the snail-paced Congress.   They bought it for $15-million.  Jefferson arranged an expedition to explore the Missouri River and beyond.  Westward-moving pioneers were the sort of men who had elected him.  The Louisiana Purchase was formally completed in New Orleans on December 20, 1803.

Greenland is the largest island in the world.  It’s rich with the rare earth minerals that America needs … uranium, cerium, lanthanum, cryolite and the possibility of offshore drilling to name a few.  USA has labeled these minerals as “essential” to national defense and advanced technology.  America is currently buying them from Communist China … not a good dependency. China already has a 12% stake in one section of this Artic gem.  For key ingredients needed to beef-up its military, Russia also wants it.  Since 1979, Greenland has been a self-governing province of Denmark; the Daines say “it’s not for sale”.  This is where a talented person, whose specialty is “The Art of the Deal“, could come in handy.   Unfortunately, Dems and RINOs are against anything that Pres. Trump is for.  As with Jefferson, uninformed Congressional representatives would mock, ridicule and slow-move anything he suggests, such as buying Greenland … even if it would have invaluable importance for generations to come.  But it’s not about congress.  It’s about We the People.   It’s up to grassroots patriots to tell Congress that We the People see the value of buying Greenland now … even if they don’t and/or won’t.
