Randy May … 11/18/2021
My 4 AM sky gets an early start at midnight and again at 3. The full moon lights the world, dimming as it rotates closer to the horizon, pushing lunar light beams through soft, midnight morning clouds, tree branch silhouettes and early morning fog, until by 5 AM it is gone. The remaining sky is split between the stars that find the clear spots and the gathering clouds and fog.
God knows my heart, this morning, is heavy with dread and fear for Deb. He knows I’m trying hard to forgive the demonic daughter that would take her from her happy home of 13 years, where she is loved and cared for 24/7 (literally every minute), where she has friends that love her, where she feels secure, with her Dixie dog and me, and put her in “assisted living” in Alabama, where she will be terrified and alone. Hard to find forgiveness for the brother that would, not only let this happen to his sister, but support the daughter in her efforts, and the sister-in-law and Deb’s life long “friend” that says, “she got over Victor and she will get over Randy”. Well, it has been over 20 years since Victor died and she is not over him. Why on earth would you put her through that again? Why on earth would you put her through the hell you are right now?
None of them come to visit Deb in her home, while the hypocrite “friend” and daughter call to say “I love you” as they stab her in the back and break her heart. They say, “don’t tell Deb what we are doing; it will just upset her”. Well, hell yes it upsets her, because he does not want to go. She does not want the daughter in charge of anything, much less her estate. She can’t believe her brother would let this happen. She may have Alzheimer’s, but she is still a human being and has a right to know what they are doing to her. We are both terrified at the very real possibility of a deputy sheriff coming up the drive and removing Deb against her will and taking her to an institution in Alabama.
But, God points out that I am His spiritual warrior with an army of His angels at my side. It offends Him that would be afraid. He says, “forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
