On Aug. 8, 2025, WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained that, during construction of a bigger, more formal WH ballroom, Melania’s office, WH Military Office and WH Visitors’ Office, will be temporarily relocated from the East Wing. Those offices will be modernized as part of President Trump’s building project. Trump and friends are paying for the renovations. So, how did Fake News report it? Instead of “thanks, their headline was “Trump evicts Melania to build $200-million ballroom!”
Another pathetic Fake News criticism is the price for the new ballroom, etc. They say, “It’s gone from a $100-million during Trump’s first term to $200-million now during his second term”. Do Lefties not “get it” that the cost doubled during four years of Biden’s inflation and a Democrat Party’s administration? Again, President Trump is footing the bill!! Also, don’t forget that Trump is the only President in history to not accept a salary for an extremely high-hazard 8 years in office. What part of this additional, fabulous gift is it that Democrats and their Fake News not “get”? A more majestic ballroom should have been built a long time ago. Any other president would have had it built at taxpayers’ expense. America First should be hosting dignitaries in a more majestic fashion, showcasing America’s success. The current ballroom seats 200. The new one will seat 650. Instead of snarky comments about President Trump’s exceptionally wonderful donation to America and the show-casing of America’s greatness for many years to come, couldn’t Fake News, just once, say “thanks” to him?
