Pelosi has quoted the same verse from the Bible for more than two decades. She has quoted her “favorite verse” at an event for presidents of Christian colleges. But, there’s one problem … is the verse actually in Scripture? I think not.
Nancy says, “To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.”
Whether it is divine or not, it’s a good thought to remember. America was founded on Judeo-Christian values, hallmarking “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” and “under God”. There’s nothing “woke” about it. In a January 2023 speech reaching millions of people, Kamala left out two of those italicized phrases. It is an undeniable fact that every life matters and we are endowed by our creator. Those are precious words.
