“How radical is today’s Democrat Party? Feb. 2, 2023, 86 House Democrats refused to denounce Socialism”! Fourteen others refused to vote one way or the other by voting “present”. The resolution stated, “Congress denounces Socialism in all its forms and opposes the implementation of socialist policies in the U.S.A.” It went on to enumerate “the failures and immorality of Socialism”, noting that “socialist ideology necessitates a concentration of power that has time and time again collapsed into Communist regimes, totalitarian rule and brutal dictatorships.”
It further argues that “many of the greatest crimes against humanity were com-mitted by socialist ideologues, including famine, mass murder and the killing of 100 million people worldwide”. It lists the “tyrants, who have espoused this ideology including Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Kim Jong II, Kim Jong Un, Daniel Ortega, Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro”.
