Sen. Steve Daines works hard on both Montana and national issues. He puts his legislative work where his mouth is on Border Security, Immigration, Energy, Natural Resources, Economy, Jobs, Agriculture (on Senate Ag Committee), Jobs, Education, Forest Management, Wildfires, Health Care, Limited Government, Fiscal Responsibility, Technology, Privacy, Education, Ukraine and 1st, 2nd and 4th Amendments, all of which now fall into the category of “national security issues”. He works just as hard on those other critically important legislative issues for Veterans, Indian Affairs, Seniors/Social Security, Pro-Life, Public Lands, Rural Broadband, New Technology, U.S. Postal Service, Faith, Freedom and Montana’s sovereignty.
Democrats are running our economy and energy independence into the ground. Daines presented a bill to save the XL Pipeline. It only needed one more vote; Tester refused to be that one. Southern border security is just as important to Montanans as it is to US/MX and XL Pipeline border towns, jobs and the small, Montana businesses, which were popping up all along the pipeline’s route. Daines has visited the southern and northern borders many times. Tester has not once been to the southern border. Why? He votes in lockstep with Schumer, who is not pro-America, let alone pro-Montana.
