On Oct. 31, 2023, Rep. Matt Rosendale issued the following statement after reports that the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China shipped a strain of coronavirus, WIV1, to the National Institute of Health Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana, in 2018 for experiments:

“Our government helped create the Wuhan flu, then shut the country down when it escaped from the lab,” said Rep. Rosendale. “Fauci and his cohorts must be held accountable!”
“Moreover, I will not stand by and allow the U.S. to send another penny to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and will utilize every tool available to me during the appropriations process to ensure this funding stops.”
Residents of every state should call their Democrat representatives in both Houses of Congress to uncover where similar labs are located in their states and to ask why they have not alerted their constituents to this patently dangerous fact. It looks as if these evil situations exist across the USA. Even though American tax- payers are paying for it, Fake News and Democrats have not alerted them about about this treasonous mis-use of their funds.
