When Biden first hopped into the 2020 campaign, he promised to refuse big bucks from super PACs. But in August, when Biden’s fundraising began sinking like a rock, he reversed his stance. His longtime friend, Larry Rasky, formed a super PAC called “Unite the Country” (10/29/2019) for the explicit purpose of boosting Biden’s cash-strapped campaign, prospectively, steering $-millions into pro-Biden avenues. Hillary-pals are also involved.
Rasky Partners (Larry owns 87.2%) was registered as a foreign agent. It contracted with the Country of Azerbaijan. While Azerbaijan tries to pass itself off as an American ally, it’s a heinous, brutal, post-Soviet dictatorship which is corrupt to its core. According to its FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act), Rasky provided “outreach to influencers” … whatever that means, and “counseling services” to the Azerie embassy in D.C.
In plain English, a super PAC for Biden was a foreign agent for Azerbaijan, based on the same business model as Paul Manafort. Manafort worked for Trump’s 2016 campaign for a short 2-1/2 months before being fired by him. By contrast, Rasky worked on both of Biden’s previous presidential campaigns. Manafort sits in a Pennsylvania prison (awaiting a NY state trial) with a 7-1/2 year federal sentence for much less. His federal conspiracy charges, lobbying for a pro-Russian government, have nothing to do with Pres. Trump. The Rasky Partners firm also worked for Bangladesh Nationalist Party as sub-contractors to Blue Star Strategies. Blue Star, a D.C. lobbying firm, also with Hillary-pals’ involvement, advised the Ukrainian energy company, Burisma Holdings, while Hunter Biden served on its board.
When it comes to the Clintons and Bidens it’s always complicated. We, the everyday people, have a hard time deciphering their multiple webs of lies! But, for Pres. Trump’s sake, we have to keep on trying to expose these Swamp Creatures. This is what “draining the swamp” looks like and we’re only teetering at the edge of the cesspool.
