Fish & Game Dept. is building a fishing ramp for disabled people. This affects a lot of veterans … in fact, it’s veterans, who came-up with the
idea. It’ll be an off-shoot by Forsyth’s eastern fishing access dam on the Yellowstone [it’s almost impossible there to throw-in a line and not bring
it back with a fish]. F&GD has been measuring wheel chairs and other helpful equipment, to make sure they get things right. The ramp will get disabled folks
closer to the middle of the river and will be much safer than current access. Construction should begin anytime now and is scheduled to be done in October.
