Biden’s campaign promises included (1) raising taxes only on rich and (2) getting rid of fossil fuels. The “taxes” one was a major LIE, which even the most gullible Democrat understood and voted for him anyway. Under Trump, inflation was a tad bit above 1%; under Biden, it’s 9% and set to go higher. Inflation is a tax on everything … food, gas, energy, entertainment, clothing, housing, communications, transportation, etc. If a worker receives a pay increase, unless it’s more than inflation, it is not an “increase”. Biden’s “elimination of all fossil fuels” promise was not a lie! When he took over, America was energy independent and successfully exporting fossil fuels. On Day 1, Biden shut down Anwar and XL Pipeline. A few months later, he began begging America’s enemies for oil.
On 11/7/2022, Committee to Unleash Prosperity said, “In case you missed it, here are the latest words of wisdom our confused president delivered on Friday: ‘No one is building new coal plants because they can’t rely on it. We’re going to be shutting these plants down all across America and having wind and solar’.” [sic] “We still get nearly one-third of our electric power from coal – about 4 times more than from inefficient wind and solar power. China is now powering its rapid industrial expansion on fossil fuels as it builds dozens of massive NEW coal plants. How does it prevent global warming if every time we shut down a coal plant, China builds a new one or two or three?” Ask Tester. He refused to be the one vote needed on Danies’s bill to restore XL.
