On June 3, 2019, the Supreme Court ruled, with only one dissenting vote, against one of the Obama-Era provisions on Medicare reimbursement.  In 2014, hospitals, especially rural ones, sued Obama’s government for dramatically (and retroactively) reducing payments to them for serving low income patients.  His administration did not identify a lawful excuse for neglecting statutory “notice-&-comment obligations”and costing hospitals billions of dollars in Medicare reimbursements.
