Judge Jeannine said, “No question the SCOTUS leak (a draft for possible overturn of Roe v Wade) was used to gin-up the Democrats’ base; otherwise, they’ve got nothing.” Organized, pro-abortion activists (paid?) were on the courthouse steps, spewing hate with megaphones and shouting “ho, ho” chants, within minutes of it going public … almost as if it was part of a plan.
Anyone working within SCOTUS is sworn to secrecy. Yet, Democrats are celebrating the leaker as a hero! Do they not “get it” that a leak of this magnitude is criminal, if not treasonous? It is an assault on democracy. Even Jonathan Turley, and other liberal constitutional lawyers and professors, expressed astonishment.
Roe should always have been a state-by-state question … not federal. The draft is not about banning abortion; it’s about constitutional jurisdiction. Not one Democrat (including Jon Tester 202-224-2644) objected to this SCOTUS “insurrection” or to the quick distribution of prepared maps to the homes of conservative justices. Protecting them from intimidation is one of the reasons for SCOTUS secrecy. Now, the last bastion of protecting democracy has been weaponized. God help us!
