Yesterday, (11/7/2025), Republican Senators Johnson,Sullivan and Cruz put forth a bill “to pay any federal employee who is keeping Americans safe”. In other words, Republicans are standing up for those patriots in law enforcement such as military, TSA, CBP, Capitol Police, ICE, etc. They are in harm’s way to protect us and the Democrats refuse to let them be paid. Democrats have had 14 opportunities to vote for opening the government; but, unless Republicans are willing to add $1.5-Trillion to the clean CR (continuing resolution), mostly to fund healthcare for illegals, Democrats refuse to open government. The bill is called Shutdown Fairness Act.
Democrats own this shutdown. With an evil look, Schumer wickedly said that as long as there’s a shutdown, Democrats are winning. Another Dem said, “our left wing voters love the shutdown”. Still another Dem said, “as long as public perception is in our favor, the party will not concede short of planes falling out of the sky”. They planned to wait until the 11/4/2025 election, which they mostly won, to stop Schumer’s Shutdown. But, three days since the election and they still enjoy having the government shutdown. Schumer and his toy soldiers are sick people!
