Celebrating A Stronger Montana
This week, Gov. Gianforte cut the ribbon on the First Amazon facility in Montana
Governor Gianforte continues to deliver on his promise to grow the economy, and this week was no exception. On Wednesday, the governor cut the ribbon on the first Amazon facility in the state. Located in Missoula, the delivery station is the company’s first major investment in Montana and has alreadycreated100 good-paying jobs in Missoula.
This announcement comes on the heels of significant business investments across Montana — VACOM’s investment in Lewistown that will create up to 500 jobs, Brixtel Defense’s opening in Glendive that will create 350 jobs, and Dvele’s investment in Butte that will create over 400 jobs.
These investments are a direct result of Gov. Gianforte’s pro-business, pro-jobs policies. Recruiting job-creating businesses and expanding opportunities for Montanans has been a top priority for the Gianforte administration. Since Gianforte took office in 2021, Montana has added 40,000 new jobs and saw record business creation in 2023, with more than 60,000 new businesses.
