Remember Obama’s “shovel ready jobs” claim? His Democrat-majority House at the time quickly sent $-billions to Solyndra to manufacture millions of solar panels. A short few months later, Solyndra went belly-up on the American taxpayers’ dime. Obama went on one of the late-night talk shows and, laughingly, said, “I guess they weren’t so shovel ready”. Usually, Democrats, the party of spend, blame Republicans when they’re getting away with something bad like that lie. Obama’s charm saved Democrats on that one.

The #929, Jan. 2024 edition, titled “More Biden Green Projects Are Gone with the Wind”, described the Democrats’ latest, expensive blow to taxpayers. BP and Equinox “backed-out of a huge New York offshore wind project”. … “Nearly 30% of current wind projects are likely to be delayed or cancelled. Since July, four Massachusetts contracts, two in New Jersey and one in Connecticut have been shelved.” … “Two other major wind projects, Empire Wind 1 and Beacon Wind, are in financial trouble, but have not officially been cancelled yet.
