We do not negotiate with terrorists! Unfortunately, “we” has turned out to be partisan like everything else these days. It is not okay. Democrats should stop doing it. While it is nice to get some of our people back (because ALL LIVES MATTER!), it is not nice when Democrats hand-over $-millions, and sometimes $-billions, to enemy countries. They sponsor other terrorist nations and are incentivized to kidnap more Americans … it pays off! Senator Daines wrote the following on September 18, 2023:

Biden’s administration saw fit to make a terrible deal with the world’s leading sponsor of terror. This $6 billion deal and prisoner swap with Iran only encourages Iran to take more Americans hostage and is more proof that the Administration can be pushed around when it comes to Iran’s nuclear ambitions. We should never negotiate with terrorists.”
