Rep. Geraldine Custer is running against Rep. Barry Usher in the Republican primary for MT State Senate, District 20. She was Rosebud County’s Clerk & Recorder for more than 30 years and has served in MT State Legislature since 2015. She has supported every piece of legislation defending right to life of the unborn. Mtleg.gov shows her vote on every bill. Jordan Hall’s blog in Montana Daily Gazette, known for misinformation (that’s being kind), says that is not true. Hopefully, voters will do the research.

Geri had a bill for title X funding, which, since the late 1980’s, has not funded planned parenthood. Jordan Hall claims that it does. Federal money for title X goes to Montana’s local public health departments for birth control and cancer screenings for men and women. Mr. Hall disagrees. Again, please do the research on both candidate’s voting record.

For months now, Geri has hoofed her way door-to-door across District 20. She raises her own campaign money. Big monied “Americans for Prosperity” funds most of Usher’s. He lives in Billings and she lives in Forsyth, ie. big town vs. E. MT rural. He’s wealthy; she’s not. He tells us what we need. Geri provides solutions.
