The Convention of States (not to be confused with a Constitutional Convention) movement is picking-up steam. More than 15 states have passed resolutions in favor of it. Other states are close. COS is a grassroots movement. Usually, Congress has total control of amendments. With COS, the people have control. It provides a peaceful, non-partisan compromise, so that the future of our nation doesn’t have to depend on who wins between left or right. Rather, states can work together through the Article V process, honoring the 10th Amendment so brilliantly given to future American citizens by their forefathers.
America is a mess. Even freedom is at risk. This COS process gives the little guys an opportunity to do for the country what self-serving, politicians, seemingly, cannot.
