California Democrats are scared! Maxine Waters, who is one of their top fundraisers and longest serving incumbents, finally has a serious challenger.
Waters was recently quoted saying that California should have a more important role in the Democratic primary process because of all the “fancy parties” they hold for political candidates.
That’s what she thinks is her job as a Congresswoman. How out of touch can you be?!
Maxine has been in Congress for nearly thirty years and has never faced a serious challenge from another African American. She has held a monopoly on the black vote in California’s 43rd district for too long. That time is now over.
I’m Joe Collins, a proud black conservative and U.S. Navy veteran from Maxine Waters’ South Los Angeles district. I’m running against her this year to put an end to the three decades of Democratic rule that my friends and neighbors have suffered under.
Democrats are terrified of black conservatives like me! They take the African American vote for granted and don’t want to have to work for it again.
I’m already working for it. I’ve been holding events to connect with the community across the 43rd District since I announced my candidacy last year. I’ve connected with voters from all political backgrounds. Republicans, Independents, and even Democrats are supporting my campaign.
