One of Pres. Trump’s recent tweets included the term “lynch” (ie. a premeditated, no-due-process tactic conducted for maximum intimidation) as an analogy for a secret impeachment inquiry conducted by congressional democrats.  No sooner read than it was the “word du jour” to be parroted by Fake News, Dems, RINOs and other anti-Trumpers.  With gnashing of teeth and faux outrage, they screamed “how could he use such a historically charged word?”  Off they went with grandstanding against Trump and his “irredeemable, smelly Wal-Mart-shopping, racist, gullibles, who love their guns, God and country!”
In 1998, Democrats decried Bill Clinton’s impeachment investigations using various forms of the word “lynch”.  Each time, there was hand-clapping and back-slapping, but no outrage to be found!
    *  Sen. Biden:  “Even if the president should be impeached, history is going to question whether or not this was just a partisan lynching.”
    *  Rep. Jim McDermott:  “We’re becoming a political lynch mob.  We’re going to find a rope and a tree; we can ask a bunch of questions later.”
    *  Rep. Nadler:  “I will not vote for impeachment in the People’s House.”  … and … “In pushing arguments of fairness and due process, the Republicans so far have been running a lynch mob.”
Today’s mainstream media boils down to nothing more than repetitive explanations of why it is wonderful and the absolute truth when they say “this-or-that”, yet cries foul when Republicans, FOX News, Pres. Trump and his constituents say the same “this-or-that”.
Next, let’s explore the definition of hypocrisy.
