Forsyth’s very own Alicia Fritz and Sally Wanner have started a fabulous giving project called Crocheted with Love. For the third year in a row they have rounded up 30 some local crocheters and bundles of Bernat yarn to make a soft warm blanket for each and every resident of the local nursing home. This adds up to 30-35 blankets each year. In order to raise money for the yarn, they hold a raffle for one of their crocheted blankets. The last raffle was held during the Quigley match. The next raffle will be held during the county fair for a patriotic red, white, and blue blanket.
